Good Night Drink is an internationally recognised relaxation drink brand available in multiple countries around the world. We've assisted the local distributor with many brand awareness campaigns, general graphic design and marketing tasks.
Among these projects were the creation of trade presenters, necessary when dealing with chain store buyers, a sales presentation for reps making pitches to potential stockists, minor edits to the can labels to bring them in line with South African legislation and conversion of the international product stands to local supplier specifications. Along with posters and flyers we've also made several emailers such as the one pictured below.
Social media marketing and advertising is a cost effective way of reaching millions of potential customers quickly. We've created and run several social media ads for this brand and also crafted much of their social media artwork across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This particular banner borrows from the established brand identity, using icons that represent it's core values.
One of the more entertaining campaigns we designed featured subtle nods to several well known energy drink brands. Colours were sampled from the selected sources and copy was crafted to reinforce the recognisable colour schemes with familiar words and phrases. As this product is not an energy drink, these ads in no way dissuade customers from purchasing their favourite energy drinks. Rather, we encourage potential buyers to sip a Good Night Drink after a long, hard, day to relax and unwind. As the product contains only natural ingredients it does not pose any harmful effects and has no known side-effects.
Roll-up banners are a cheap way to increase brand awareness in areas with high foot traffic. The banners below were based on the existing templates used by the European parent company, but feature South African landmarks and familiar settings. The aim of these banners was to alert customers to product availability in airports while reinforcing the brand values with relaxing and familiar imagery. The location specific banners were placed outside airport stores in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. A general banner was also created for in-store locations around the country. These were paired with flyers and product stands in high value locations such as malls.
Working with established brands can sometimes be a challenge, however the established Good Night Drink brand identity has been flexible enough to allow for consistent branding across a variety of media while adding our own South African flair to appeal to the local market. With the product's blend of natural ingredients, consistent and effective use of the available channels and our creative design skills the brand has quickly become a popular choice for South African customers.
